What are Abortion Care Baskets?
Abortion Care Baskets provide materials to assist patients in their post-abortion recovery process. These baskets also help emotionally support patients and combat abortion stigma through included positive messaging and support resources.
Some items included in these care baskets are:
- Menstrual pads
- Ibuprofen (individually wrapped)
- Anti-nausea: Peppermint and ginger tea/candies
- Treats: candy/chocolate, snacks
- Comfort items: heating pads, fuzzy socks, lotion
