NARAL Pro-Choice Ohio releases additional endorsements
Press Release | August 27, 2018
Cleveland — NARAL Pro-Choice Ohio, the state’s leading advocate for reproductive rights, including abortion, announced additional endorsements for the November 6, 2018 general election. All endorsements are listed on our website at https://prochoiceohio.org/2018-endorsements/
NARAL Pro-Choice Ohio Executive Director Kellie Copeland said: “Ohioans support reproductive rights, including access to safe and legal abortion, and expect the same from their elected officials. With the future of the U.S. Supreme Court in doubt, and multiple abortion bans under consideration in the Ohio Statehouse, questions about preserving Roe v. Wade are no longer hypothetical. We need state senators and representatives who understand the real world needs of their constituents. It is time to reverse the damage to abortion access in Ohio at the hands of John Kasich, Mike DeWine, and countless anti-choice members of the Ohio General Assembly. We’re releasing new endorsements of candidates for office because we know they are committed to doing what’s right. NARAL Pro-Choice Ohio staff, board members, and volunteers will be supporting them by working the phones, promoting them online, and knocking on doors from now to Election Day.”
